Family Bible Reading Guide

A Bible reading plan to guide families with a broad overview of Scripture including many well known passages and stories.

The plan provides five readings each week averaging approximately 20 verses each day. This allows the reader to catch up quickly if you miss a few days.

The readings in this plan are presented in chronological (or time) order. The readings that have been selected are suitable for family reading and discussion.

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. – Hebrews 4:12

Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” – John 8:31-32
